A strong advocate of sustainable tourism, Albert established BEST Society, driving community empowerment initiatives like Kiulu Farmstay. An accomplished author and wildlife photographer, his latest book, Reflections of Sukau Rainforest Lodge, highlights his connection to Borneo’s natural heritage. Recognised as a Fellow of Edith Cowan University and adjunct professor at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Albert continues to shape global ecotourism through collaborations, conferences, and transformative efforts to conserve nature and uplift communities.
